The housing and real estate industry is a gateway to millions of potential jobs. It is also a large source of revenue for local municipalities, states and our country as a whole. Currently, many factors are contributing to the regression of the housing industry. These include bureaucratic and regulatory policies that impact consumer confidence and keep home values low. This has stifled the housing industry; and although purchasing a home is considered to be a significant life event and an integral part of the American Dream, today the industry is bleeding and affecting the lives of most U.S. citizens.
